Downtown Family of Catholic Parishes offers a New Testament Bible class in April

Share

The Downtown Family of Catholic Parishes offers a New Testament Bible class: “Follow Me: Meeting Jesus in the Gospel of John.”

Following Christ takes more than simply believing in him or doing what he asks of us. Jesus wants you to be more than just a believer. He wants you to be His disciple and friend. “Follow Me: Meeting Jesus in the Gospel of John” is a guide to a personal encounter with Christ. Follow Me invites you to experience the joy of a renewed friendship with Christ. He calls us to be His disciples, to trust Him, to open ourselves to His merciful love, and to love others as He has loved us.

The four session course runs every Wednesday April 17-May 8, from 6:30-8 p.m. Classes will meet at  St. Joseph’s Hall at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1029 Delaware Ave., in Buffalo, and will involve live in-person and virtual content. Deacon William Hynes will be the course facilitator.

Course Materials available through Ascension Press include:

• Workbook, $22.95 plus taxes & shipping

• Optional Online Access, $5.95 plus taxes that includes: online workbook, eight videos (35 minutes), and one-year online video access.

To enroll, contact Lizza Buckley, course coordinator, at 716-939-3483 or eabuckley@msn.com.
