Rosary Revival at St. Mary’s Swormville Aug. 11-14

SWORMVILLE — All are invited to attend a four day Rosary Revival at St. Mary’s Swormville, Aug. 11-14. Father George Knab, OMI, will lead a journey through the decades of the Holy Rosary in preparation of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Aug. 15 and their Mass of Thanksgiving commemorating 175 years as a parish.

The Rosary Revival will begin on Sunday, Aug. 11, at 7 p.m., with the theme of “Cause of Our Joy.” The Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary will be prayed and after the service, people may come forward for healing prayer for themselves or for another.

Monday through Wednesday, Father Knab will celebrate St. Mary’s 9 a.m. Mass followed by a different talk each morning about Our Blessed Mother.

The main services will be Sunday, Aug. 11 through Wednesday, Aug. 13 evenings at 7 p.m. Father Knab will lead the service and recitation of a Mystery of the Rosary each evening.

Multiple priests will be available after Tuesday’s service for the Sacrament of Penance. Father Knab will also be available for confessions on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., on the hour. 

Father Knab will concelebrate St. Mary’s Assumption/Anniversary Mass with Bishop Michael W. Fisher and 15 other priests at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15.For a complete schedule and description of the services, go to St. Mary’s Church Swormville’s website, stmaryswormville.org.
