Junior Daughters of the Knights of Peter Claver give back to community at Christmas

Share

In November, the St. Martin de Porres Junior Daughters of the Knights of Peter Claver made lap blankets for the sick and shut-ins. The blankets were distributed during the Christmas season.

The mission of the Junior Daughters is to promote and enhance the spiritual and social well-being of all its members. The Junior Daughters, as well as the Junior Knights, for youth ages 7-18, strive to build good character and develop leadership skills.

The national organization has been recognized in many media stories and publications for service, leadership and accomplishments by church and civic institutions.

Please contact Junior Daughter Counselor Shelby McKinney at scoop36us@yahoo.com or Assistant Junior Daughter Counselor Laurie Brown-Croyts Alford at lbrownc@kent.edu if you know of youth interested in joining.
