Mrs. Redman’s third grade class at OLV Elementary School have written a prayer for veterans as we thank the brave men and women for their service.
This Veterans Day prayer was written by Mrs. Gawronski’s fourth grade class at OLV Elementary School in Lackawanna. Everyone at the OLV community remembers the sacrifices of our veterans.
TONAWANDA — Students and staff at Cardinal O’Hara High School held a Camo Dress Down Day on Oct. 10 in honor of Veterans Day and to collect donations for local veterans in need. The O’Hara Community collected $400 for KIA, a not-for-profit organization that supports food pantries for veterans.
To mark Veterans Day, Mrs. Monolopolus’ second-grade class at Notre Dame Academy wrote a prayer in gratitude for the brave sacrifice of veterans throughout history. Mrs. Pyszczynski’s first-grade class also created cards with letters of thanks to the brave veterans.
