Run St. Mary’s Chowder Chase 5K or walk a 3K and enjoy the social

SWORMVILLE — Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to St. Mary’s 14th annual Chowder Chase which starts at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 19. Run the USATF certified 5K on St. Mary’s flat, fast, turn-a-round course or take a 3K walk. The starting line is in the parking lot behind St. Mary Church that faces Stahley Road.
Online race registration at: https://runsignup.com/Race/NY/EastAmherst/StMary is $30 through July 16, $35 thereafter. Race day registration is allowed. Packet pick-up will be on race day only, beginning at 5 p.m. The first 200 registered runners/walkers will receive a race T-shirt and food/drink vouchers. Chowder Chase awards include overall male and female and top three in each age group.
Adults are invited to enjoy the Wild Horse Wine & Beer Social, 6:30-11 p.m., with music by The Bomb Band, food from local restaurants including Stockman’s clam bar and Campobello’s pizza as well as adult games of skill and chance.
