Castellani Art Museum, located on the campus of Niagara University, is adding a youth-oriented day camp to its lineup of summer programming in 2025. Families have a chance to preview it later this month.
Camp CAM is a five-week program that combines visual arts and theater, and gives children ages 5 to 12 the opportunity to enjoy hands-on creativity. Participants will embark on weekly explorations ranging from sculpture and postal art to myths, fairy tales, contemporary design, abstraction, and global traditions.
The program will begin July 14 and run through August 15. The museum is hosting an open house Thursday, May 22 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. to provide a sneak peek at the programming that will be offered at Camp CAM.
Admission to the open house is free but those interested in attending should register in advance of the event. For more information, including the link to register, click here.
Camp CAM is just one of several programs to be held at Castellani Art Museum this late spring and summer. A pop-up Mother’s Day card making program will be held Thursday, May 8 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the museum.
A full schedule of programs and activities to be held at Castellani Art Museum may be found at its website, castellaniartmuseum.org.
