St. Stanislaus Church to host diocesan Renewal Conference

Seats are still available for the Diocese of Buffalo’s 2025 Renewal Conference, to be held Friday, May 16 in the Adamski Center at St. Stanislaus Parish, 389 Peckham Street off Fillmore Avenue in Buffalo, across the street from the church. The conference will begin at 9 a.m.
This year’s theme is Renewing in a Time of Challenge. The day-long event, sponsored by the diocesan Office of Renewal, will offer prayer and talks and breakout presentations on topics relevant to parish communities amidst difficult time.
The keynote speaker will be Joshua Danis, who currently serves as the head of Parish and Diocesan Partnership for Hallow, the popular Catholic prayer and meditation app. Previously, he served as Director of Catholic Context for Alpha USA, a Christian self-guided spiritual training program which has been hosted at several parishes throughout the Diocese of Buffalo.
Other presentations will include: Life Beyond Bankruptcy, by Susan Windley-Daoust, Ph.D.; Finding God in a Time of Challenge and Hurt, by Father Frank DeSiano; Make Every Person Count, by Sister Louise Alff, OSF.
Breakout sessions will cover the pillar topics of Outreach/Social Justice, with Father Frank DeSiano; Stewardship, with Father Mark Noonan; Liturgy, Spiritual Life and Administration, with Father Peter Wojcik; and Forming Disciples, with Lorene Duquin.
