Spend a summer evening in prayer at our diocesan shrine and hear Our Lady of Fatima’s messages

BOWMANSVILLE — All are invited to the Sacred Heart Church and Diocesan Shrine in Bowmansville this Sunday, July 13, at 6:30 p.m., to hear Our Lady of Fatima’s third message originally given on July 13, 1917. Three shepherd children asked, “What do you want of me?” A portion of Our Lady’s response was, “Continue to pray the rosary everyday … in order to obtain peace for the world and the end of the war.”
The evening will begin with an outdoor Holy Mass at the shrine (weather permitting), and recitation of Our Lady’s message. A rosary procession through the beautiful grounds of Sacred Heart’s Shrine will conclude the evening. Families are encouraged to attend.
Come to hear Our Lady’s messages at Sacred Heart Church and Diocesan Shrine on the 13th of each month through October when there will be a candlelight Mass followed by a reception. Sacred Heart Church and Diocesan Shrine is located at 5337 Genesee St., Bowmansville, NY 14026.
