Life in the Eucharist program coming to Clarence

Share

The Together in Christ Family of Parishes will host Life In The Eucharist (LITE) at Our Lady of Peace Church in Clarence, from 7-8 p.m. for five Wednesdays beginning on April 30.

The adult faith formation program is a spiritual experience based on five specific themes that explore the Eucharistic mystery. Themes include: God’s Love as Covenant in Jesus Christ, God’s Love as Sacrifice in Jesus Christ, God’s Love as Memorial in Jesus Christ, God’s Love as Praise and Blessing (Berakah) in Jesus Christ, and God’s Love as Prophetic Service in Jesus Christ.

Life in the Eucharist is designed to engage the participants within a parish community to gain a deeper appreciation of the Eucharist as found in the Scriptures; develop a meaningful understanding of the Eucharist as celebration, the liturgy; contemplation, adoration/prayer; and communion, living Christ’s life; and deepen their personal and communal relationship with Jesus as members of the Body of Christ in building up the communal life of the parish.

Our Lady of Peace Parish is located at 10950 Main St., Clarence 14031.
