Stations of the Cross schedule announced for Downtown and South Buffalo parishes

The Downtown Family of Catholic Parishes has prepared two versions of the Stations of the Cross for the Catholic faithful to pray before.

The Stations of the Cross devotion will be held on alternating Fridays at 7 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church and St. Louis Church.

Blessed Sacrament will hold an interactive multi-media service on March 7, Mark 21, and April 4. St. Louis will hold a traditional service on March 14, March 28, and April 11.

Father Bill Quinlivan, pastor of the Catholic Family of South Buffalo, has created a special video featuring the beautiful mosaic Station of the Cross from St. Thomas Aquinas Church which closed November 2024. Prayers and musical refrain were composed by Father Quinlivan, who hopes the video will offer a way for people who cannot attend a Stations of the Cross service to pray at home.
