The annual Men’s Conference will help men of all ages to “Be bold, Be a Disciple, Be a Man.” This year’s conference will take place Saturday, March 29 at Cardinal O’Hara High School in Tonawanda.

Sponsored by the Catholic Men’s Fellowship of WNY, the conference will welcome Father Larry Richards as the main speaker, presenting two talks. Father Richards is the founder and president of The Reason for our Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to “spreading the Good News” by educating others about Jesus Christ. He also hosts “The Reason For Our Hope,” radio show on EWTN.
“Father Richards has a great following and he’s a very popular speaker, very dynamic. We’ve had him before and the guys really liked him,” said Deacon Michael Ficorilli, a member of the fellowship for 20 years.
Father Michael LaMarca, pastor of the Roman Catholic Community of the Tonawandas, will also speak.
“We love his passion in the way he delivers a message, too,” said Deacon Ficorilli.
Breakout sessions will include conversations on being bold, evangelization, discipleship, and genuine masculinity. Reconciliation will be offered. A healing room will also be offered for those wanting a healing prayer. Bishop Michael W. Fisher will celebrate Mass at 2 p.m. Music will be provided by With Your Grace.
The Men’s Conference welcomes men from 9 to 90, and has seen four generations of a family attend at once.
“There’s something magical about seeing 750 men all join hands together and praising God and just coming together as Catholic men. There’s just something there that’s incredible,” said Deacon Ficorilli.
Doors will open at 8 a.m. The conference starts at 9 a.m. Coffee and doughnuts will be available to purchase. Lunch will be provided.
The cost is $40, with an early bird special of $30 for registration before March 10. College and high school students get in for $10.
