DeSales students run in Turkey Trot

LOCKPORT — DeSales Catholic School students participated in the second annual school-wide Turkey Trot, a fun and exciting event held on Tuesday, Nov. 26. The fun run was planned by DeSales physical education teacher, Connie Hornquist and took place in the neighborhood surrounding the school, promoting fitness and community spirit. Each student brought a food donation to benefit the All Saints-St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry

After the race, students enjoyed a healthy post-race snack provided by the Cornell University Cooperative Extension Veggie Van, offering a nutritious treat to celebrate their efforts.

Kindergarten through second grade were:

1st place Cameron Grabowski, Alice Pittman

2nd place Jake Mitri, Amelia Reynolds

3rd place Levi martin & Kathleen Sullivan

Grade three through grade five:

1st place Jack Stockton, Arianna Haseley

2nd place RJ Lockie, London Young

3rd place Kingston Kelly, Vivianne Bonville

Grade six through eight:

1st place Trenton Kaminski, Lucy Gaskill

2nd place Noah Oliveri, Emma Haseley

3rd place Joseph Morello, Margaret Manning

DeSales is a regional Catholic school teaching students of all faiths from preschool through eighth grade. Located on Chestnut Ridge Road in Lockport, DeSales welcomes families from throughout Eastern Niagara and Orleans counties.
