Bishop Timon-St. Jude High School is excited to announce that Rich Barnes ’73 will be the next distinguished speaker in the South Buffalo institution’s ongoing yearlong series.

With a career spanning over three decades, Rich Barnes has been a relentless advocate for New York personal injury clients, championing their rights with unwavering dedication. His impressive background includes five years as a senior district attorney, specializing in felony prosecution and seeking justice for victims of heinous crimes. Transitioning to private practice, Barnes was called upon by the chief criminal judge to prosecute a high-profile triple homicide case, showcasing his exceptional legal acumen.
As a pivotal partner at Cellino Barnes and now as the president of The Barnes Firm, Rich continues to exemplify his commitment to justice for all clients. His steadfast belief in the importance of courtesy and respect within the legal process underscores his mission to uphold justice.
The Timon Speaker Series is a yearlong program sponsored by Ed Williams ’63, Pamela Jacobs-Vogt and Maureen Denman. The goal of the series is to bring a diverse group of speakers who will inspire, excite and challenge our Timon students with messages of overcoming adversity, and tackling the challenges they may face when they move on from Bishop Timon.
The event takes place Tuesday, April 23 at 8:30 a.m. in the auditorium of Bishop Timon High School. All are welcome to attend this event. No RSVP is necessary.
