Pro-Vita Awards to be presented April 25

To mark the observance of the 51st Roe v. Wade decision, the diocesan Office of Respect Life will host the annual Pro-Vita Awards to recognize those who have served as an exemplary commitment to the gift of life.
On Thursday, April 25, Deacon Mark & Theresa Kehl, Lindsay Adornetto, Dr. John & Darya Brach, David Kersten from OLV Charities, Sharon Kuczmarski and Ann Wagner will be presented with their awards at St. Christopher Parish in Tonawanda during the 4 p.m. Mass. The St. Gianna Benefit Banquet will follow at Classics V beginning at 6 p.m.
The banquet raises money to support the seven St. Gianna Molla Pregnancy Outreach Centers that provide care for mothers and children, both in material and moral support.
The awards event was originally planned for January, but needed to be postponed due to a snowstorm.
